Tutored Life Drawing: (& Short Term Exhibition) COURSE CODE B003

Tutored Life Drawing Workshop

This workshop aims to stimulate a personal creativity and inquiry by exposing participants to visual stimuli, method and rationale for approaching the task of ‘drawing’ through a variety of traditional and experimental drawing media to validate curiosity and intuition.

Participants will be introduced to specially devised drawing techniques aimed at understanding the human form and learning how to manifest a personal vision.

Apart from providing an opportunity to experience Life Drawing as both a way to study the human form and as a way of producing drawings as finished artworks, this tutored workshop is designed to also develop a way of ‘looking’ through ‘subject matter’ to liberate a capacity to ‘see’ and arrive at a personal and unique product.

On completion of the practical workshop, students have the option to select their best pieces of work and present them to their families and friends in a short-term group exhibition at Gallery Elysium (Dates and Details will be negotiated with participants)
