Elio is the managing director of Elysium Gallery.
Elio is a Melbourne based Art & Design educator and artist with over 30 years of experience in teaching at senior secondary level in Victoria. Elio has had extensive experience in teaching VCD, Art and Media Studies Units 1-4 over the last 30 years at Senior Secondary level during his teaching career, most recently at Xavier College in Melbourne Victoria.
Since completing his BA in Fine Arts and Graduate Diploma in Education in the mid 1980’s, Elio has pursued his lifelong love of painting through exhibiting his works in both group and a number of solo exhibitions at a variety of galleries around Melbourne. His artworks focus on the exploration of the human figure as a means to interpret relationships and cultural narratives.
