Bart Sanciolo is a Melbourne based artist whose extensive career includes lectures, consultancies, design projects and workshops for art instructors as well as teaching and commissions. Sanciolo has also held ten solo exhibitions and participated in numerous collective ventures.
Many of his sculptures, paintings and drawings can be found in corporate and private collections both in Australia and overseas.
Bart’s artistic passion for the figurative artworks that express imaginative and narrative contexts is matched by his ability and experience in developing art pieces of contrasting sizes and using a variety of materials, techniques and methods.
His artworks demonstrate a continuing search for a dynamic relationship between line and form and emotion, expressed through a contemporary format, yet building upon a classical tradition.
