Terms and Conditions Courses

Gallery Elysium Pty Ltd ACN 632 420 190 trading as Sanciolo Art & Design Labs (us / we / our) operate under the following terms and conditions. By enrolling in one of our courses or workshops you agree to accept these terms and conditions. When we use the words "you, your or student" we are referring to the person enrolled in any of our courses.

1. Who do we cater for?

Our courses cater for adults and for students in their final year of secondary school.

2. What are our class sizes?

We generally have up to 10 places available per course. Your place in the course is confirmed as soon as you pay our course fees.

3. How much does a course cost?

The cost of our courses is set out on our website. Course fees can be paid via PayPal, credit card or direct bank deposit. Let us know if you have need any help when enrolling online.

4. How do you enrol?

You can enrol online by filling out your details on our website and paying the course fee. Your enrolment will be confirmed immediately after payment of your fees.

5. Are refunds or transfers available?

We keep our classes small in order to give you the attention you deserve, so if you can no longer attend your course it means that we may not have time to fill your place. For this reason we can't provide refunds if you can no longer attend. Please consider your booking carefully before enrolling.

6. How do classes work?

Our classes are designed to be sequential, so we recommend that you don't miss a class.

7. Can I bring my own meals?

We provide light refreshments such as milk, coffee, tea, bottled water and biscuits. There is also a microwave and small fridge if you wish to bring your own meals to class.

8. What happens if you miss a class?

We will do our best to offer a make-up class if you miss a class in special circumstances and if you give us advanced notice, but we can't guarantee this so please do your best not to miss a class. In the rare circumstances where we may have to cancel a class we will also offer a make up class.

9. Are particular teachers guaranteed?

All of our teachers are highly qualified and we will always do our best to have the designated teacher for the course take the class. However, we reserve the right to change teachers at any time if there are circumstances beyond our reasonable control. We will not issue a refund or transfer if there has been a change in the teacher of a class in which you are enrolled.

10. What materials are required for a class?

Our course guide sets out what materials you will need to bring to a class. Please wear suitable attire (ie. you may get paint on your shoes or clothing).

11. Consent to photographs

You consent to us taking photographs of your participation in class or of any artwork you create. You also consent to us publishing those photos on our website and social media pages, or for other advertising and publicity purposes. If you do not want you or your artwork to be photographed, please let us know at the beginning of the course.

12. Lost or damaged artwork

We are not responsible for any lost or damaged artwork belonging to students. You are responsible for collecting your artwork at the end of the course. We may remove or dispose of any uncollected artwork if you fail to collect it, without any liability to you.

13. Feedback

If you have any concerns or comments, please let us know. You can also leave feedback via the “contact us” section on our website. We will respond as soon as possible.

14. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable to you for any loss, damage or injury you may suffer, howsoever incurred, in connection with your participation in a course. We exclude all implied terms from this contract. Nothing in these terms excludes any rights at law that we are not permitted to exclude (non-excludable rights). These terms are subject to any non-excludable rights.
